I grew, I’m guessing, about 30 kilos of cucumbers. I did try and offload some of them but in the end they were laid to waste in the compost heap. Some of them, a lot, went into Greek salads. Others went into bread and butter cucumbers. Three large jars, which are sitting in the cupboard. Some went to neighbours, some to the worm farm, and some to the chooks. The moral? One plant is probably enough for two people. There isn’t an awful lot you can do with cucumber gluts. If you’re new to gardening this is a great, easy and productive plant. Give it a go.

Yum, we love cucumbers here! Fresh from the garden, especially. My daughter's absolute favorite food in the entire world is this salad I make with cucumbers and pasta. The dressing is sugar, oil and apple cider vinegar. It's very tasty. Wish I could have helped you out with some of your overload! =)
Well, I'm in a high-rise apartment now, but I'll remember this when I get a garden (sooner rather than later, I hope). My black thumb needs things like this.
